Les Gets (Haute-Savoie) is known for having one of the most difficult short track courses on the circuit with a particularly fast start/finish. Dry conditions, like those the riders faced on Friday, only made things go faster.

“Puck went, because she likes to race fast,” Keller explained later, “while I thought I'd save some energy. My team manager told me to concentrate and stay calm. On the penultimate lap we closed the gap and I tried to get the others to work and we worked quite well together. We got Puck back and I attacked."

MEN'S RACE

“It's been a long time coming and I'm very happy that today paid off,” said Hatherly, whose last short track win came in Brazil in 2022.

He continued: “I had the confidence to make a good attack at the end. I had kept something in the tank.”
