Rissveds proved herself, taking a resounding victory in the UCI XCO World Cup. After ending a 26-month drought on Saturday, the Swede confirmed her return to form with another stellar performance.
Rissveds adapted more quickly to the conditions, sprinting out of the gates and immediately taking the lead, steadily extending her lead on the technical terrain. By the end of the first lap, she had a 12-second advantage. A brief off-track excursion on the second lap, likely due to a technical issue, didn't slow her down, and she held off her rivals.
His lead was further strengthened when Alexandra Keller (Thömus Maxon), who was leading the chasing group, stumbled on the third lap, triggering a chain reaction among the other contenders.
Behind her, Samara Maxwell (Decathlon Ford Racing Team) and Keller battled for second place, with Keller ultimately prevailing on a dramatic final lap.
Meanwhile, Rissveds made the unforgiving course look easy, crossing the finish line in 1:12:01, 1 minute and 12 seconds ahead of everyone else.
