Young people and families attended an exciting two-day event, admiring the riders' exploits as they challenged each other on the track known as the "Valley of the Witches": a technical 2km course, over roots, rocks, and jumps, where everyone had to demonstrate their ability to ride an off-road bike to the limit through the woods and among the trees.

Among the top riders, Sardinian Davide Palazzari confirmed his title as Italian Champion, with a Saturday run that established his superiority over all others, holding a nearly five-second advantage over his closest rival. The jersey was awarded to this category based on the previous day's run, for safety reasons, as Race Direction had cancelled the Sunday program for this category and the Junior Men's category; therefore, as per the rules, the result was based on the qualifying run. Palazzari stated that he rode with ease, attempting to control his bike's grip on a course that had been made treacherous by the rain that fell just minutes before his run. As mentioned, he edged his closest rival Stefano Introzzi by nearly five seconds, while Tommaso Calonaci took third place on the podium.

The Elite Women's race was a different story, with Veronika Widmann of Alto Adige winning the regular downhill on Sunday, reclaiming the jersey worn by Gloria Scarsi in 2024 thanks to her victory in Cortina d'Ampezzo. Lisa Gava finished third on the podium, taking home an excellent national result.
COMPLETE RACE results
These were very intense days for those who managed the race and the entire organizational machine, with great support from the staff in Madesimo, which led to the determination of the Italian Champions, with some surprises and just as many confirmations.

Unusual race conditions left a bitter taste in the mouths of the men's "Open International and Junior" categories, as rain began to fall on Saturday, precisely during these riders' timed trials, affecting everyone's runs. On Sunday, however, halfway through the race run, Race Direction was forced to interrupt the race for safety reasons, effectively canceling the runs completed up to that point for all Junior and Elite International category participants. In accordance with FCI/UCI regulations, the title was awarded based on the previous day's race. However, in that run, the reigning champion had amply demonstrated his superiority.
