The Méribel Belleville 2 Vallées Enduro3 provided three days of sport, entertainment, and pure adrenaline. From August 23rd to 25th, over 500 riders from around the world competed along the trails of the French Alps in one of the most anticipated and exciting two-person races on the international calendar. The Italians took second place overall. Mirco Montagni and Andrea Righettini, protagonists of a solid and spectacular performance.
A unique format, a special atmosphere
Enduro2 is not a race like the others: you race in pairs, side by side, sharing fatigue, risks and emotions. In Méribel the format has developed on 19 special stages spread over three days, for a total of approx 10.000 meters of descent and easy transfers from the ski lifts. A mix of natural trails, bike park sections, and alpine sections that showcased the riders' technical skills and team spirit.
Impeccable trails and textbook organization
Montagni did not hide his enthusiasm for the quality of the track: The trail builders did an exceptional job. The trails are clean, meticulously maintained, flowing yet technical: a real pleasure to ride here..
The organization also received unanimous praise: smooth logistics, high-quality services (refreshments, bike washing, security), and precise and timely management of the stages, which allowed the athletes to focus solely on the race.

Three days of pure adrenaline
The special stages offered a complete showcase of what enduro can offer: speed, technique, endurance, and spectacle. From the rocky, high-altitude sections to the wooded sections, the two Italians maintained a steady pace, demonstrating great teamwork and clarity in their race decisions.
The climax came on the final day, with passages above 2.700 meters and an epic descent to Courchevel. A grueling stage, made even more intense by the altitude, which Montagni and Righettini tackled with grit and courage.
A podium to celebrate
The second-place finish represents a prestigious result for the Italian pair, who demonstrated their ability to compete at a high level in an international context. "We're satisfied: the level was high, but we gave it our all and enjoyed every moment. This experience will stay with us forever.", they commented at the finish line.

A celebration beyond the competition
As is tradition, the Enduro2 concluded with a huge celebration in the village of Méribel, complete with music, applause, and toasts. It was the perfect way to cap off an event that once again confirmed its uniqueness: a race that is both a sporting challenge and a shared adventure.
Meribel has kidnapped us
Impeccable logistics, a rare attention to detail: included catering (hot lunches for both days), bike wash, careful ascent, rescue team, perfect timing. Everything made it easy to focus solely on what we love: riding, sharing, and experiencing the mountains.
In conclusion
This race will remain in your heart: Second place, sure, but first for emotions, complicity and pure adrenalineWe've tasted everything Enduro2 promises: friendship, adventure, and adrenaline. See you next time, Meribel. We'll be back. – Mirco Montagni & Andrea Righettini

ANOTHER PARTNER EVENT ENDURO2
NZ MTB RALLY
Part of the organization is also involved in the NZ MTB Rally, a week-long enduro adventure through the "undiscovered" region of New Zealand's top-of-the-south. Date? March 22-29, 2025!

Put simply, the NZ MTB Rally is a stage enduro race with assisted climbing. With 4-6 gravity-focused race stages per day, linked by scenic backcountry links and shuttled uphill using 4x4s, helicopters and boats. Visiting a significantly different start point each day, from three different base camp locations. It’s a route that feels like you’re on a journey, with a purpose, rather than simply riding from bike park to bike park on a bike-shuttle tour.
