The Chelva Internationals was once again the first HC event of the year in the XCO world and brought the first discount among the greats of Cross Country. Charlie Aldridge and Jenny Rissveds won.
Just 7 days ago, Charlie Aldridge crossed the finish line of the last stage of the Mediterranean Epic by SCOTT with his arms raised. The Cannondale Factory Racing team was the real protagonist of the race, with Cole Punchard dictating the pace for many moments in the first part of the race (like in La Nucia). Aldridge continued to push with David List on his wheel. The race was very fast and the group never really broke up with Aldridge using his speed to win. David List finished 2nd and Leon Kaiser, the surprise of the day, 3rd.

FEMALE ELITE
Jenny Rissveds led the race from lap 2 and no one could get close to her times. The Swede took her first win with Canyon CLLCTV and showed her great form at this time of year. Behind, in 2nd place, there was more of a fight: Kelsey Urban, on her debut with KMC Ridley, took 2nd place by overtaking Evie Richards in the final meters.
