At the final of theEuropean E-MTB Enduro Tour, held on 13 and 14 September in the French Pyrenees, Andrea Garibbo conquered the overall victory in the men's categoryGreat performance also for the Austrian Anna Spielmann, who finished third in the women's overall standings.

In the intense two-day European Championships, Garibbo started as the overall leader. With his advantage built up, the 36-year-old athlete's goal was HAIBIKE was to maintain a safe and consistent race conduct. Mission accomplished: throughout the eleven timed trials – including two Power Stage – Garibbo was able to handle the pressure, bringing home both the stage victory the overall title.
“The feeling in the saddle was fantastic, and I had fun on the technical and slippery trails. With that confidence, I decided to go for the stage win as well. In the end, I took it by 18 seconds,” he said at the finish line.
With this success, Garibbo enriches a very high level list of achievements: EDR-E 2024 World Vice-Champion e Italian champion 2023 both in E Enduro in that E-XC.
Anna Spielmann on the women's podium
For the teammate Anna Spielmann, the new race format – practice and competition on the same day – posed a particular challenge. On the first day of competition she constantly fought for the podium, finishing fourth, but the result was enough for her to obtain a deserved third place in the women's results.
Spielmann had already demonstrated his worth a few days earlier, winning the eMTB World Title Cross-Country at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships, always on a HYBE.
