In Val Vigezzo Alessandro Levra and Emili Polo win

The third stage of the 4 enduro circuit in Val Vigezzo took place over the past weekend. A format, the one born in northern Piedmont, which is increasingly popular with foreign bikers too.

More than two hundred riders at the start, with a significant number of rookies and students, a sign of the vitality of the movement which will need to be enhanced and consolidated.

The race had to deal with the crazy summer of 2024. A storm welcomed the youngsters and masters at the 2000m start of SS 1. While it was the turn of the strongest riders to take the last PS under a heavy downpour.

In the elite category, victory went to Alessandro Levra (team fristads merida co.me.s), former Italian junior champion in 2015. In second place was teammate Martino Lani, who is at home in these parts, and third was the Swiss Kuttel Nik (Velo infrancer/ig radsport uri)

In the women's event, Polo Emili of the Guidi-rosas bike team took the top step of the podium.
