The American Madigan Munro (Trek Factory Racing-Pirelli) was the first to attack: her confidence on the course allowed her to create a gap on the first lap, even if Böhm immediately got in the slipstream, with the Canadian Emilly Johnston ( Trek Factory Racing) and the Italian Valentina Corvi (Santa Cruz Rockshox Pro Team).
On the last lap the undefeated Böhm demonstrated her quality and consistency, leaving her rivals behind with Valentina Corvi (Santa Cruz) finishing in third position, 36 seconds behind.
