In the magnificent estate in Garfagnana you are spoiled for choice for practicing downhill, freeride, enduro, cross country, trials and even pump tracks, all a stone's throw from the hotel and camping facilities which will soon welcome families, companions and athletes from all over Europe.
After the official training sessions, boys and girls aged 13 to 16 will compete in the Individual Time Trial (ITT) where the starting order for the subsequent Team Relay (XCR), Short Track (XCC) and Cross Country Olympic format (XCO) events will be decided.
The first calls for six Valle d'Aosta students to the European Championships have arrived, including Elisa Giangrasso, third in the Internazionali d'Italia Series in La Thuile, Sofia Guichardaz, Italian champion among the Beginners in 2021, then Alessandro Fantone, Thierry Philippot, Paolo Costa and Fabien Wads.
Also present was the Ligurian Jacopo Putaggio, first at the Internationals of Italy in La Thuile, and the regional champions of the specialty from the Marche region cross country Eliminators Agnese Calcabrini and Pierpaolo Benedetti of the Students category.
