Anadia, located in the central region of Portugal, will host three European Junior and Under 23 Championships, mountain bike, road and track. In total, more than 2 thousand athletes are expected, in addition to a number of visitors that should be around 30 thousand. Last year it was like that.
MTB will be the first discipline to compete, from 1 to 3 July, where the XCO titles will be awarded (cross-country Olympic), XCE (MTB eliminator), XCC (short track) and XCR (Team Relay, where we are defending champions).

ITALIANS PRESENT
We have excellent chances of bringing home the big result among the U23s, both in the women's and men's fields. Avondetto and Fontana, among the U23 men, will finally not have the phenomenon “at their feet” martin vidaurre (Chilean). In the female eliminator, great favorite Gaia Tormena, champion of the discipline. Between the women's U23s and the Juniors, we have some athletes who can aspire to the podium. We cross our fingers and we hope that Italy will bring home excellent results from this away match. From this year, the Elite will no longer have the reserved race in the XCC but will only be able to compete in XCE, XCR and XCC.
