The technical department of Torpado has studied the geometries of this bicycle with the aim of neutralizing the behavior of the e-bike by distributing the weights of the motor and battery in the central areas of the bicycle, in order to give the vehicle greater balance and comfort.

Technically, the vehicle has some noteworthy aspects: 720 W / h power pack battery made with Samsung cells and integrated into the frame, brakes with increased piston with the possibility of upgrading to 4 pistons, chain fall arrest system, cables completely integrated into the frame including that for the dropper post (standard) and provision for the bottle cage in the down-tube.
This last detail is very important because in the most extreme routes and in particular downhill, it greatly facilitates driving by allowing the saddle to be lowered even while on the move, so thanks to the ergonomic handlebar control, it is then possible to restore the correct speed in safety and speed. pedaling position. Bafang Max Drive System is equipped with a motor that develops a power of 250W with a maximum torque of 80 Nm, so quiet that it is hardly heard. It has two sensors, a torque sensor and a speed sensor that transmit data to the control unit with a frequency of 80 kHz, allowing it to guarantee a smooth and precise ride. The design and geometry of the engine make it usable in different types of bicycles and make it quick and easy to disassemble, thanks also to its weight of less than 3.9 kg, so as to speed up the assistance and maintenance service. In the MTB models, Bafang has created a specific mapping for Torpado for off-road use.
The Bafang HMI thanks to a backlit LCD display provides all the important information at a glance: battery status, instant speed, mileage, and all basic information; it can be read even in direct sunlight without difficulty thanks to its high contrast display.
