Wout van Aert will participate in the Gravel World Cup and today he will test in Houffalize where the UCI Gravel World Series will take place.
The Gravel world championships always offer themselves as a valid alternative for various athletes of various disciplines to end the season with a rainbow jersey that doesn't hurt. Last year there were Mathieu van der Poel and Peter Sagan on the starting line of the UCI Gravel World Championship. Wout Van Aert also seems to be there this year.
GRAVEL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS REVOCATED TO FILIPPO POZZATO'S COMPANY
There are still some good races to go this season, such as the Tour of Britain and the European Championships in Drenthe. The intention is to finish with the world championship on Gravel. I've rested a bit now, so I'm not in the best shape, but there's still time between now and October. I race here in Houffalize mainly because I like to race and show myself to my fans and the public. I am looking forward to the last part of the season, with new and fun races – Wout Van Aert
