No surprises today in Gullegem: the lack of Pidcock and Van Der Poel led to the dominance of Wout Van Aert. The only ones who tried to fight him were the usual Michael Vanthourenhout and Eli Iserbyt but they couldn't do anything.
In the middle of the race, Michael Vanthourenhout broke his bike frame but managed to get to the box losing only about ten seconds from Van Aert, which were then decided by the definitive attack by the athlete Jumbo Visma.
Among women Ceylin Alvarado wins ahead of Inge Van Der Heijden and Denise Betsema. Top10 for Francesca Baroni who finishes in 8th place.
