Favorite number 1 of the men's race will be the English Tom Pidcock, returning from recent victory at the MTB European Championships. Behind him many suitors who will want to change their minds to bookmakers: first of all, Nino Schurter, to get even more into history by aiming for the 10th rainbow jersey, and Titouan Carod, who a Mont Sainte Anne won with a disarming ease. In excellent shape David valero, winner a Snowshoe in the World Cup, Filippo Colombo and our Luca Braidot (Santa Cruz FSA), just returned from Livigno to prepare for the world championship appointment in the best possible way.

At the moment, the only Italian to have won a world title in MTB is Hubert Pallhuber in 1997. In the women's field, on the other hand, the only one is Paola Pezzo with 2 world titles (1993 e 1997).

[email protected] I am a fan of everything that has 2 wheels: at a young age I practiced road and track cycling (Italian Allievi champion). At the age of 18 I passed into the cross country competing at national/international level as an Under23. Past Elite, I made the choice to take things more lightly from a training point of view, and my love for gravity disciplines was born, training me as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made passion my profession by managing 2 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Bike Center Elba and Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
