Victory of a child of art among the U23s in cyclo-cross. Thibaut Nys is the son of a certain Sven Nys, a professional from 1998 to 2016 who graduated twice as world champion, in 2005 and 2013, as well as winning three editions of the World Cup, thirteen of the Superprestige and nine of the Bpost Bank Trofee (formerly Gazet van Antwerpen Trofee).
In the men's U23 category, however, the Italians are far away with Davide Toneatti 23rd and Filippo Agostinacchio 24th. As predicted challenge dominated by Thibau Nys: the Belgian son of art has no rivals, with the hat-trick prevented only by the Dutch Tibor Del Grosso, second ahead of Meeussen and Wyseure.
