The Chilean of the Lexware Mountainbike Team proves to be the strongest among the U23s: he dominates the first round of the World Cup in Brazil.

Another great show today among the u23 where 54 guys raced, not many but certainly a quality parterre. The distance of the trip certainly influenced: many teams could not afford to cross the ocean.

Three Italians competing: Simone Avondetto of Wilier Pirelli, Andreas Vittone of KTM Protek Elettrosystem and Andrea Colombo of Trinx Factory Team.

Martin Vidaurre immediately dictated the pace by taking the lead already in the launch lap: with him the Swiss Schätti and the Brazilian De Oliveira, but they did not last long. After two laps, Vidaurre already had a 45-second lead over the chasing group.

A Wilier - Pirelli jersey, the one worn by the Swiss Janis Baumann, was also in the lead. Vittone was tenth to a minute. Simone Avondetto on a bad day, passed around the twentieth position.

The race continued without jolts with a deserved and clear victory by Martin Vidaurre Kossmann: a great second place for Wilier Pirelli thanks to Janis Baumann, who reached the finish line 36 seconds late. Great 5th place Andreas Emanuele Vittone.

famac@famac.ind.br I am passionate about everything that has 2 wheels: in my youth I practiced competitive cycling on the road and on the track with good results. At the age of 18 I moved to cross country competing at national/international level as U23. Once I passed Elite, I made the choice to take things easier from the training point of view, and that's how my love for gravity disciplines was born, training as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made my passion my profession by managing 3 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way, everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube 'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
