The Frenchman Jerome Gilloux wins, already winner last year in Val di Sole, in front of his compatriot Hugo Pigeon, an athlete who in 2014 had won the Team Relay World title together with Sarrou, Marotte and Prevot. Bronze for the Swiss Joris Ryf. Peter Sagan out of 10 (falls during the last lap).
Present also Christopher Sauser, MTB champion in the 2000s, but his form was not at the top: final 28th place for him.
Well the Italians: excellent 5th place for Andrea Garibbo, since he is basically a downhill skier but proves to have an excellent leg. 6th place for an unfortunate Martino Fruet, who was delayed during the 1st lap due to a mechanical problem:
"What a pity, I rode really well, I could have aspired to the podium" his hot words of Fruet at the end of the test. And he adds: “Unfortunately the engine of the bike didn't start and I had to stop immediately in the pits, but I was so charged that I passed almost everyone. It was a really good race ”.
