The craziest mtb free ride festival in the world is back and gave us five days full of emotion. The Crankworx World Tour 2021 kicked off from Innsbruck, where the best riders on the planet challenged themselves and gravity, setting world records, historic firsts and hard-to-match winning streaks. The replay of the most spectacular events is available on Red Bull TV.
The main event saw the triumph of Emil Johansson, who confirms himself as the undisputed king of Slopestyle. The young Swede put in an incredible run full of tricks, all connected with precision, which earned him 97,5 points and a fourth win in a row in the Crankworx Innsbruck Slopestyle. The second place was deserved by the American Nicholi Rogatkin, who threw a stupendous Opposite Cashroll on the final jump (95,5 points). Third step of the podium for “our” Torquato Testa who brings Italy back to the top places in the world in this difficult and spectacular discipline with the final score of 93,25. "After all I'm a youtuber, so not bad" joked Toto, who with Marco Aurelio Fontana is the voice of the DH of Red Bull TV and hasn't been on the podium since 2017. "I couldn't be happier, thanks to everyone for the support ".

A natural, rough and steep slope saw the triumph of the home champion Vali Höll and a newfound Loris Vergier in the Deuter Innsbruck Downhill presented by Raiffeisen Club, a worthy test for the elite World Cup riders who had remained in Austria to compete after the first World Cup of the season in Leogang and in view of the next one in Les Gets, France, which will be held on the first week end of July.
In the CLIF Speed & Style Innsbruck Tomas Lemoine secured his fourth victory in Innsbruck in five years. The Frenchman has won the last three Speed & Style races of the Crankworx World Tour, in Innsbruck in 2020 and 2021, as well as in Rotorua 2020. Jordy Scott remains undefeated among women, having won every event since the women's category was introduced. at Whistler 2019. Open applause for Robin Goomes who went on to carve her name in the history books, becoming the first woman to be able to make a backflip in an official competition.
Now in its third year as a competitive event in Innsbruck, the Specialized Dual Slalom brought together some of the best all-round mountain bike athletes to compete head-to-head on a winding track. In the men the match was between Tomáš Slavik and Ed Masters, with the latter having the worst due to a small mistake at the final gate. In the women's race it was the Australian Harriet Burbidge-Smith who took the win against Casey Brown. The downhill skier Vali Höll also got involved in this test, who managed to score an excellent bronze.
The long, physical track of the RockShox Innsbruck Pump Track Challenge demanded precision from the riders, with French riders dominating the course in both the men's and women's races. Gold ended up around Mathilde Bernard and Chaney Guennet's necks.
