The last stage of the Spanish stage race was also won by the duo Fabian Rabensteiner and Wout Alleman, yet another stage success which leads to 4 victories and a second place out of six days of competition for the Wilier Triestina Pirelli duo. Of note is the 3rd place of the Taddei Factory Team with Chiarini and Failli.

"Today was the last leg of the Andalucia Bike Race. A shorter stage than the others, but really technical and demanding. We didn't plan to go for the win, just to control the race. We always stayed up front and were able to get into the break with the Megamo Buffs. Without taking any risks we then found ourselves on the finish line and once again we took the stage victory. We are really happy with this week and with our form. In the last 2 days we managed to save our legs a bit for our big goal which is only 2 weeks away: the Cape Epic. This final victory for us is really a great confidence booster, we have found the right amalgamation between us in the race and we trust each other and we are looking forward to the Cape EpicFabian and Wout.
The stage race season really couldn't have started in the best way, also because the parterre at the Andalucia Bike Race was of international level and once again the Wilier Triestina Pirelli Factory Team proved to be one of the best Marathon teams in the world.
