Cortina d'Ampezzo is pushing a lot on the side of cycling tourism, offering activities and situations that 2-wheel lovers will appreciate. Let's get to know some of them.
BIKE PARKS

BIKE & HIKE
The Bike & Hike allows you to get closer by bike to the start of the path and then continue on foot, but also to cover the stages of a multi-day tour on foot or by mountain bike depending on the destination. The Bike & Hike formula can then be declined according to their passions: climbing lovers, who will find their place in the heart at the 5 towers, can experience the formula Bike & Climb going up with the bike on the 5 torri chairlift, exploring the area and reaching the base of the climbing wall by bike, and then climbing the wonderful crags.
SUPER PANORAMA TOUR
Use the lifts for climbs and pedal almost exclusively downhill, thus making the entire tour of the Ampezzo valley in a dream setting. Starting from the center of Cortina, take the Faloria cable car up to the top of the mountain and from here the dream begins: spectacular scenery, a regenerating temperature even in the height of summer and a technical level that is not too high (if you are a beginner it is a guide is recommended). At the entrance to the first plant (Cortina) we find Jgor, very well-stocked rental (e-bikes and muscular mtb) that can also give us many useful tips.
WHERE TO STAY?
We were greeted wonderfully by Gherardo, manager of theHotel de la Poste, and Carla dell 'Hotel de Len. The De la Poste was born in 1804 as a post office and then an inn, becoming prestigious with the Olympics of '56 and now a "historic venue in Italy" while on the other side the Hotel de Len is one of the most modern in Cortina based on principles of sustainability and well-being.
Curiosity
The Hotel de la Poste was the scene of various collaborations with the first cinepanettoni of the Vanzina brothers.
EXTRA TIPS
My advice is to check the programming of events in Cortina because there are so many quality proposals: or through the portal dolomites.org by filtering Cortina or through social media Cortina SkiWorld. CortinAteatro deserves a mention, with a very rich program, and the events at sunrise (or at sunset) on Cima Tofana: I leave you some shots of seeing the sunrise from the summit (3244m) ... the images speak for themselves!
