Sabatini Coletti defines holidays in such a sober way, yet for many of us they are the most beautiful time of the year. A period in which we recover from daily efforts and at the end of which, in the ideal case, back to work we need to retrieve the piece of paper on which we wrote the passwords so as not to forget them. Anyone who has made, at least once, truly worthy holidays knows what we are talking about.
And when it comes to mountain biking holidays, it is not difficult for something to go wrong, because their success depends both on bike rides that you do and on the people you ride with. If your guide, in his nice 90s Lycra outfit, calls a forest road a “flow path” and mistakes your enduro bike for a motocross bike, there is definitely something wrong. And the same goes for the itineraries: if they are boring, a bitter taste will remain in your mouth at the end of the day. If, on the other hand, both you and your guide are having fun, you are on the right track to enjoy the rides.
Tom Malecha and the BikeHotels Südtirol, with their new video, nicely explain to us what absolutely must be avoided on a mountainbike holiday. Not only that: by showing us images of dreamy landscapes, they make us understand how easy it is actually to get the most out of the holiday period.
