After saying goodbye to road cycling now Peter Sagan will concentrate on his, perhaps, last competitive season in MTB aiming for the Paris Olympics in mountain biking. The Slovakian went to South Africa with his entire team (Specialized Factory) to train, in a perfect place for climate and routes. In fact, many bikers are using it as a retreat before the season: among them also Nino Schurter.
In fact, the two met and shot this video together: you can already see how Peter Sagan is returning to his old levels, even if compared to Nino there are some layers of rust. Peter Sagan, after this month of training, will take part in the Hero Abu Dhabi XCO, an event with a stellar prize pool on February 11th.

Temperatures in South Africa are ideal for mountain biking: between 15° and 28°. Last year many top riders went there such as Team Scott, now at home, and other riders. All of them then they participated in the Banhoek Marathon, local competition. Let's see if we will see Sagan and Schurtero at the start this year (it will take place on January 27th).
