Volcat: De Cosmo beats Hans Becking in the Sprint

Many Italians at the Spanish stage race which started with a 37km track for 850m in altitude.

Many well-known names such as Leonardo Paéz, Tiago Ferreira, Hans Becking, Aleksey Medvedev, Hans Becking, Stefanie Dohrn and Janina Wüst were at the start. A suitable first stage of the Cross Country: an ideal course for lovers of technical routes. Until halfway through the race there was still no significant difference. They continued to lead in a group until De Cosmo (Scott Racing Team) and Becking (Buff Megamo Team) took a small margin in the final kilometers to fight for the victory. In the sprint the Italian was the strongest with a time of 1:35:50. Nicolas Samparisi (KTM Alchemist Powered by Brenta Brakes) closed the podium thirty seconds behind.
