Gambirasio and Rossin consolidate their leadership in general.
The fourth and penultimate round of the Superenduro 2017 season ends, a complicated race due to the weather but for this compelling and for many participants a real discovery of this small town in the province of Parma with beautiful trails with enormous potential for development in mtb area
“I pushed hard despite the advantage and even though I wasn't 100% physically I held out until the end. In these conditions the pedaled parts no longer made much difference so my choice of mud tires at the front and rear was spot on. These from Calestano are also important points for the championship but the games are not yet closed and everything is sent to Santa Margherita Ligure ”declared Vittorio Gambirasio at the end of the race.
“I'm back on the top step of the podium after a long break and a somewhat troubled period, I was missing the flavor of victory a little. I am happy with this season, at every race there is the opportunity to compete with international riders and this makes me very happy and gives great stimulus ”says Laura Rossin.
The Youth Category was instead won by Simone Pelissero (Ancillotti Factory Team), ahead of Andrea Garella and Denir Adobati (Bike & Co ASD). The special stage that the boys faced was number 4, one of the longest of the entire Superenduro season that Simone covered in 11:53:43 min, practically a top 20 absolute time.
The appointment is for the last round of the season on 21/22 October in Santa Margherita Ligure in Liguria.
