We went to Rio nell'Elba, a beautiful village on the north-east side of the Island of Elba, to try the route and, given the opportunity, we took the opportunity to shoot a video! The date is May 8, the format will be by Urban DH under the supervision and organization of Elba Gravity Park. The format will be simple: 2 heats with the sum of the 2 times in Enduro style. The lowest time will naturally win the race!
The place is splendid and lends itself very well: you start from the mountain overlooking the town to tackle a first steep section in single track. Nothing technical but the steep terrain, combined with the single track, will still put the athletes to the test. Dario and Riccardo, the 2 organizers of the event and in the management of Elba Gravity Park, took us to preview it.
After these first 500 meters entirely unpaved, where you will meet 3 hairpin bends with an artificial drop, you can glimpse the town and in a moment you are in the historical part and enter Rio (remember one of the historical villages of the island) through a door that immediately on a drop! The show will be guaranteed!

After having crossed the whole country between stairways, 90-degree curves and narrow passages, here comes the spectacular final staircase, where Dario made us realize that a spectacular drop could be born for the athletes and the public!
