Vittoria SpA, the EMEA & LATAM subsidiary of the Vittoria Industries Ltd. group is pleased to announce that Vittoria Industries has been awarded today in Berlin, the IDTechEx Commercialization Award, for the use of extraordinary technologies on existing high-end products. The award was accepted by the founder of Vittoria Industries Ltd. Rudie Campagne.

The IDTechEx Commercialization Award is awarded annually to commercial products, dedicated to the final consumer, which have characteristics of relevance for the market and for society. The large-scale production of these products is one of the evaluation criteria for the award jury. Since 1999 IDTechEx has been a leader in market research, business intelligence and event organization related to emerging technologies. Its clients often use IDTechEX insights and analysis to make strategic business decisions and to grow their organizations. IDTechEX is based in Cambridge, UK.

Since the launch of its innovative range of bicycle wheels on the market in September 2014, Vittoria has been driving a real revolution that is changing and will change the global cycling industry. Thanks to the recent discovery of Graphene, supplied by Vittoria's technological partner, the Como-based company Directa Plus, Vittoria quickly transformed itself from a traditional manufacturer of bicycle components into a Hi-tech company dedicated to innovation.
"The assignment of the IDTechEx to the European Printed Electronics Europe 2015 conference represents a milestone in the revolution that Vittoria has just undertaken" commented Rudie Campagne, founder of the Vittoria group "The association between our wheels and Graphene is a combination innovative that unlocks access, for our products, to a whole series of new performances; without any compromise ".

Vittoria has worked to go beyond the limits of the traditional compromises to which bicycle wheels have been subject until today. The result is unprecedented: lateral stiffness of the carbon fiber rim increased by 50% thanks to the application of Graphene; significantly improved flexibility (+ 24%); possibility of reducing the weight of the rim up to 15% and enormous heat dissipation capacity (the rim temperature decreases by 15 ° -30 ° C).
