A few days before the opening rehearsal of the Nationals Downhill Series, namely the Mad Lake of Toscolano Maderno (BS) on 8-9 April. Still a few hours to register (they close on Thursday 6 April).
The Mad Of Lake prize pool has been official in these hours: in addition to the check given by the national race, more than € 6500 of prizes in materials and products provided by our technical sponsors HZ goggles, WD-40, Italia Calze, Tecnosport and Canella. But there is another surprise waiting for those who will step on the top step of the podium… stay connected.
The National Downhill Series is a circuit created by various organizers who have decided to join forces to create an attractive package for all downhiller who attend the competition fields. The races are all very interesting starting from the Mad of Lake in Toscolano Maderno (BS, opening round) up to Passo del Tonale (TN) on 10th September.
Here is the complete calendar of the Nationals Downhill Series 2017:
1st stage, 8-9 April: Mad of Lake - Toscolano Maderno (BS). National DH.
2nd stage, 3-4 June: Caldirola (AL). Top Class DH.
3rd Stage, 1-2 July: Aviatico (BG). Camp. Regional DH.
4th Stage, 8-9 July: Prali (TO). National DH.
5th Stage, 10 September: Pinzolo (TN). Regional DH.
September 9th 'Final Party' with music and entertainment on Saturday evening.
The opening stage is organized by the Garda Pro Bike Team with the collaboration of the municipality of Toscolano Maderno and the organizers would like to thank Adriano Fausti for the trophy in memory of his son Matteo Fausti, former Italian champion under 21 and multiple regional and provincial champion.
This is the program of the race which will take place over 2 days, Saturday 8 April:
- from 8.00 to 10.00, license check (Piazza San Marco);
- from 9.00 to 12.00, controlled training;
- from 12.00 to 13.00, controlled training reserved for TOPs;
- from 14.30 pm, qualifying heats;
- at 18.30, team manager meeting.
Sunday 9th April:
- from 8.00 to 9.00, reconnaissance of the bike track;
- from 9.00 to 12.00, assisted free practice;
- from 14.00 pm, Final race heats;
- at 18.30 pm, prize giving.
