The Czech Republic, a nation of reference in the world, has won both titles, with the icon of the discipline Tomas Slavik, in his third world title, and Michaela Hajkova.
Unlike the 2019 edition, Slavik perfectly interpreted the demanding track designed by the organizers of Grandi Eventi Val di Sole, preceding the transalpine Adrien Loron and the Austrian Hannes Slavik in the final heat. Fourth place for the blue Martti Sciortino: brilliant in the heats, the Milanese was the victim of a fall in the final, while the Olympian in BMX Giacomo Fantoni won the final for the fifth position after the exit in the semifinals.
In the women's final, Michaela Hajkova got behind the French Mathilde Bernard and the surprising Anna Sara Rojas who gave Bolivia a historic bronze medal at the Mountain Bike World Championships.
