Present since 2022 in the world cup downhill, Fort William is one of the most iconic tracks of the circus: a very particular first part with a single track in an open field and many rocks, the main feature of this circuit.

After a two-year break (Covid time), downhill races make their return to the Scottish Highlands for the second downhill stage of the season.

FANTAmtb favorites Fort William — The second favorites FANTAmtb

The last two times the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup has been in Fort William, Amaury Pierron (FRA) won in the men's Elite race. Pierron also won last round in Lourdes but the opponents are many and the victory is always on the edge of cents. Certainly French colleagues Loïc Bruni and Canadian Finn Iles will be ready to battle.

The Elite Women's Competition offers British fans of Downhill a reason for hope since Tahnee Seagrave is among the favorites and is the latest Fort William winner in 2019.
