UCI sanctions Jordan Sarrou, Lars Forster and Loana Lecomte

The UCI sanctioned the three bikers for various reasons related to the positioning of the number and the training "programs".

The UCI has released a statement after the XCO World Cup round in Nove Mesto in which it reports a penalty for former world champion Sarrou, Forster and Lecomte. The first two were sanctioned for having folded the number thus not showing the sponsor of the event. Jordan Sarrou even cut it.

In the case of Loana Lecomte, the penalty refers to the use of the race number to train outside the official training hours. The penalties are economic and can go up if the athlete turns out to be a repeat offender: in fact, initially we are talking about only 50 francs (about 50 €). In the past, it was right Nino Schurter to start the tendency to wrap the number on the handlebars, "vice" I immediately take off after several verbal admonitions.
