The new Marlin+ builds on the much-loved Marlin and adds an intuitive Bosch motor to the all-rounder hardtail that provides a comfortable, quiet boost for tackling singletrack or cruising city streets. Marlin+ manages to offer all of this for less than any Trek electric mountain bike, allowing riders to take advantage of the best that both Trek and Bosch offer.

Marlin+ has all the versatility of its non-electric sister, i.e. a resistant hardtail frame with 120mm fork to easily overcome stones and roots and front and rear thru axles to maintain driving precision. The large 2.6″ tires ensure high grip and, thanks to the Smart Wheel Size, Marlin+ is immediately ready for use. Frames from size M up are equipped with smooth-running 29" wheels, while S and XS frames have agile 27.5" wheels, more proportionate to the size.
The heart of the Marlin+ is the new Active Line Plus mid-drive motor from Bosch. The 50Nm of torque delivered ensures that riders have that silent and smooth thrust they crave, but without making them feel overloaded. The motor is supported by a fully integrated 400W Bosch CompactTube battery, compact and lighter because it optimizes energy density.
The 400Wh battery offers driving assistance for up to four hours, but by adding Bosch's 250Wh PowerMore range extender you can increase the range by 60%.
Simplicity is the watchword with Marlin+, thanks to the new Purion 200 system from Bosch that combines display and remote control. The elegant control unit allows you to immediately view the most important data of the output, leaving out the superfluous ones. The AUTO mode adjusts the motor assistance intuitively based on the terrain, conditions and the rider's responsiveness, so that you can enjoy the ride more without worrying so much about changing the settings.
Like the muscular Marlin, the Marlin+ is equipped with attachment points for luggage racks, mudguards and a stand, thus increasing the all-round versatility of the bike: riders will be able to decide whether to keep the trail soul of Marlin+ or add all the accessories they need and transform it into an urban bike capable of moving on any terrain.
