Last November, Torquato Testa was hit by a veritable storm of criticism aimed at damaging his image after publishing a video on YouTube where he and a friend allowed themselves to make some aesthetic comments about the girls participating in the Rampage (video entitled “La chica pi caliente del Red Bull Rampage”).

From there, a huge media pillory started with even some Italian media ready to increase followers and shares to the detriment of Torquato Testa. Even Pinkbike dedicated him an article in which he recounts the whole affair with very nasty comments that would make anyone depressed.
It was sad to see how, at the slightest mistake, an avalanche of criticism was unleashed, often lacking a real understanding of the facts, fueled only by superficial comments such as: “Did you see what happened to Testa? It seems he spoke badly of women”. At the time, we at 365 chose not to speak out on this topic precisely because, not having had the opportunity to see the video, it would have been useless to fuel further controversy without direct knowledge of the facts: we would have liked to see the video and evaluate the tone used, not to make easy judgments by looking at a screenshot.
Behind every controversy there is always a real person and for this reason too we did not think it was the right thing to throw further mud without knowing the facts well. There is no doubt that it was difficult for Torquato to witness a part of the MTB world, and false friends, turning their backs on him. Ok, he could (I continue to use the conditional since I have not seen the video) have made a mistake by getting caught up in the heat of the moment and not filtering himself during the content: now Torquato knows it well.
Space for video.
