Many would say: "maybe have Tom Pidcock's empty legs!". The Brit was the number 1 favorite for the Les Gets World Championships but he did not find the perfect day and made many small mistakes, we have described here.

But he doesn't give up and says nice words to Nino.

The romance of the world championships ❤️💔, just one day for everything to go smoothly. This hurts more than normal, I worked hard on it but this week it all seemed out of place. I was as positive as I could and finished 4th, completely empty, which I can be proud of. As always, thank you for everyone's support yesterday: it means a lot to me 🙏 Heartfelt congratulations to @nschurter. Nino and the Rainbow MTB jersey almost synonymous now 🤴
