The TREK Fuel EXe is now also in aluminum: lower price

With the new aluminum Fuel EXe models, Trek offers a lightweight pedal-assist solution for an even wider audience of cyclists.

Last summer Trek redefined the e-MTB industry with the launch of the Fuel Exe model. Today, it broadens the horizons even further by offering a new model with an aluminum frame featuring a quiet ride and natural assistance.

The new aluminum Fuel EXe offers riders the same technologies as its carbon counterpart in a more affordable package that will appeal to an even wider range of riders.

Fuel EXe is powered by TQ's award-winning HPR50 engine, based on the exclusive Harmonic Ping Ring transmission. This compact motor is acoustically optimized to blend into nature, delivering a one-of-a-kind trail riding experience and enough pedaling support to tackle climbs without the noise of belts and gears. This technology has caused a sensation in the bicycle world since its inception, obtaining various awards. These include the Pinkbike's Innovation of the Year, Design and Innovation 2023 and Popular Science 100 Greatest Innovations 2022 awards.

With 50Nm of torque, Fuel EXe offers just the right amount of assistance to tackle the steepest climbs. This bike strikes the perfect balance between too much and too little, ensuring a smooth, natural ride with just the right level of support. If the rider wants to customize the level of assistance, he can change it in the Trek Central app.

The engine isn't the only customizable element on the Fuel EXe Alloy. In fact, the new aluminum models have the possibility of changing the angle of the headset using adjustable cups and of varying the geometry of the frame thanks to the Mino Link function, available on the carbon models. If that weren't enough, the aluminum Fuel EXe can also accommodate extra-long dropper posts and coil spring shocks.

The Fuel EXe Alloy model is equipped with a 360Wh battery that provides assistance for 2-5 hours. However, riding time can be further increased by means of a compact 160Wh Range Extender, which fits in the bike's bottle cage. With this additional mount, you can achieve a driving range of up to 7 hours between charges.
