The 2022 edition of the SPAR Swiss Epic kicks off in Arosa (Swiss municipality in the canton of Graubünden) on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. The five-day mountain bike race to conquer the Alps will once again see some of the best marathon runners in the world come together to do battle through the 359-kilometer Route.

In addition to 11.700 meters of elevation gain, the route - which includes the villages of Laax and Davos, as well as the start in Arosa - also includes 11.850 meters of spectacular descents.
Race favorites Nicola Rohrbach and Ariane Lüthi, winners of the men's and women's 2021 races respectively, return to the SPAR Swiss Epic with new partners.
Rohrbach will line up with his Swiss colleague Nils Landenberger while Lüthi will be alongside Faranak Partoazar.
ELITE ITALIANS PRESENT
Team Wilier Pirelli was present with Fabian Rabensteiner and Daniel Geismayr, certainly among the favorites of the competitions. At the start also the Samparisi brothers of KTM Alchemist, Dario Cherchi and Martino Tronconi (KTM Alchemist & Attitude) and Bottecchia Factory with Francesco Bonetto and Lorenzo Laposse.
