The day in Daolasa will end at 21.00 pm, when the tightrope walkers of the 4X Pro Tour will try their usual stunts under the spotlight.
Saturday 1st July is the day of the great verdicts of the Black Snake, authentic temple of Downhill world. After the morning semi-finals, the elite women and men will take to the track at 13.00:14.00 p.m. and 17.00:XNUMX p.m. respectively to take part in a race that is worth a career, especially for Veronika Widmann from Alto Adige and Eleonora Farina from Pietramurata, Trentino, the latter returning after a broken collarbone. The afternoon will be dedicated to children's entertainment: for the second consecutive year, the Mini World Cup of Cross Country is scheduled for XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
As per tradition, Cross Country will close the World Cup program in Val di Sole, on Sunday 2 July. The program includes the U23 Women race at 08.30:23, followed by U10.30 Men at 13.00:15.30, Elite Women at XNUMX:XNUMX and Elite Men at XNUMX:XNUMX. In the four days in Solandra there will also be numerous moments of music and fun thanks to the collateral initiatives scheduled. On Friday 30 June, after the Four-cross race, the One Horse Band will perform, an event followed by the Val di Sole Bikeland Party with DJ Ale Costa. On Saturday 1st July, the program of side events will open at 16.00pm and 18.00pm with the Bikeflip Show followed by the RockaBike Fest at 21.30pm, the new Format for dancing all night long, and at 24.00am Kate Klein – Dj Set directly from London.
ANOTHER CARBON NEUTRAL EVENT
2022 was a very important year for Val di Sole Bikeland in terms of environmental sustainability. Both the Mountain Bike World Cup, on the occasion of the grand finale in Daolasa di Commezzadura, and the Cyclocross World Cup in Vermiglio have achieved carbon neutrality through collaboration with Climate Partner.
In view of the new edition, the organizing committee has renewed and strengthened its commitment to reduce the carbon footprint of the event, managing to further improve the expected value compared to 2022. Non-removable emissions will be offset by supporting an environmental project in Laos, in Southeast Asia.
Furthermore, Val di Sole has once again obtained the Eco-Eventi Trentino label. Among the measures implemented, Val di Sole is a partner of Dolomiti Energia, which will supply energy deriving 100% from renewable sources, while the water of the Solandra valley will be available free of charge to all event participants thanks to the installation of fountains in the parterre area and will not be served through the use of plastic bottles.
Social sustainability projects also include the collaboration between Val di Sole and the ALPI Cooperative, an organization that aims to offer job opportunities to people in particular difficult situations while enhancing sustainable production processes . In particular, the cooperative has been involved in the creation of backpacks using PVC banners dating back to past editions of the Mountain Bike World Cup.
