After days of frequent consultations following the evolution of the pandemic, the level of criticality of which seems to have decreased significantly but not yet in a clear and reassuring way, Garda Trentino spa by mutual agreement with the organizers of the bike festival - the publishing house Delius Klasing Verlag and Yunique - took note of the need to place the event on another date.
Scheduled to take place from 30 April to 2 May a Riva del Garda, the main event for off-road bike enthusiasts is therefore postponed to autumn, and precisely to the weekend 15 from October to 17 2021.
"It was a painful but responsible decision - Explains Oscar Schwazer, Director of Garda Trentino spa - We all expected the health situation to develop more rapidly and reassuringly, but the evolution of Covid still requires us to make difficult decisions. We remain confident, however, that the summer tourism season will develop favorably, as it did last year, and that the Bike Festival in October will still be a joyful moment of regaining freedom for the thousands of fat tire enthusiasts who love to pursue their passion on the trails and itineraries in our area.".
Last year the Bike Festival was not held due to the critical issues caused by the virus, but this time Garda Trentino spa and its tour operators really trust that the people of "fat wheels" can return to live their great party, albeit with some month of delay, after a summer that everyone is hoping for decrees the end of this long nightmare.
