After a five-year stop, the international event dedicated to the world of fat wheels returns to Ogliastra. Appointment in Arzana from 1st to 3rd November 2018

Arzana, October 5th. After five years of stop, the International Mountain Bike Rally of Sardinia restarts with renewed commitment. The event, scheduled from 1 to 3 November 2018, was strongly supported by the municipal administration of Arzana and by the Tourism Department of the Sardinia Region, and will return once again to the beautiful Ogliastra;

THE PATH
The route of the 2018 edition of the International Mountain Bike Rally of Sardinia has already been defined. Departure from Arzana, a town of just over 2000 inhabitants that boasts the highest peaks in Sardinia, and arrival in Bari Sardo, an enchanted, ancient place where it is possible to admire and appreciate the values of true Sardinia.
Three stages of the race, for a total of 265 km and 7.400 meters in altitude. A decidedly challenging track, which will put the participants to the test.

The decision to move the event to November, compared to the 2014 edition which took place in June, is mainly dictated by the weather conditions. This period will allow the athletes to enjoy a cooler and more optimal climate for the competition. As always, the International Mountain Bike Rally of Sardinia will cross breathtaking views and uncontaminated places, which only the wild Sardinia can offer.

The Rally di Sardegna is supported and sponsored by the Tourism Department of the Autonomous Region of Sardinia and the Municipality of Arzana who believe in this sport-tourism project for the rediscovery and enhancement of the territory.
