And speaking of letting loose, let's start this preview with the musical part, because good music plays a decisive role at the DP Bike Opening: Saturday Air Rapids from Graz, Austria, will be on stage with Reggae Sound System Mortal Kombat Sound of Regensburg and of MC Ucee. On Sunday, the "Aprés Bike Open Air" will instead be more hip-hop based while the English freestyle rapper Klumzy Tung, along with his band and al DJ Elwood, will cause hands to wave in the air and more. But the main focus is obviously on MTB and the tools needed to practice it.
Unlike most openings, the activities during the Dolomites-Paganella Bike Opening are not concentrated in a single location, but the stands of many brands are well distributed around all the refuges in the bike area and at the Base Camp at the start of the Andalo lifts. The activities take place in the shelters during the day, where the exhibiting brands offer not only the possibility to test their latest products and to obtain brand information, but will also give the opportunity to participate in driving technique courses, guided tours, games and receive gifts.
Towards evening, everyone will gather in front of the Andalo Base Camp stage to end a great day on the bike with good music and excellent beer! Participation is free! Anyone who has purchased a bikepass or has a Gravity Card subscription can participate in the inauguration. Be sure to download the free MOWI application. He will not only guide you through 80 km of single trails, 7 km of flow trails and 9 km of lifts in the 3 bike zones, but will also provide you with the current program and countless gift vouchers that can be redeemed at the stands.
Participating brands: Bosch, Canyon, Crankbrothers, Endura, Gasgas, Husqvarna, Julbo, Marin, Mavic, Merida, Orbea, Osprey, Out-Of, Pirelli, Scor, Technomousse, Whyte – and more to come!
