Tranny has been in development for several years. In fact, the mold was prepared well before our Ripley. We retired the original 26 ″ Tranny about a year ago and with the Ripley hitting the market we were able to focus on the Tranny. As with all of our bikes, we take the time we deem necessary to make them exactly the way we want them. We think our methodical and thoughtful approach is evident in the details of the Tranny29.
The Tranny 29 is a hardtail with a lot of personality. Roxy's hand in design has been truly fantastic and Colin's engineering solutions are crafty, functional and elegant. And it's really fun to drive. It simply converts to a Single Speed, even with Gates Carbon belt drive.
