The Mottolino Bike Park makes 13 with a new path

Source: press release

The Mottolino bike park is a splendid creature that is always evolving: 10 years of history to build one of the best gravity parks in Italy, with facilities for all levels. After the completion of the red EAS23, here is a new project ready to spin the wheels: the focus on the experts returns with the enhancement of the drops and the magical thirteenth path, a black path to be savored!

The Mottolino team is at work on the new track downhill, dedicated only to the most experienced riders, which will start from the gondola to reach the green valley of Livigno. It will develop on different types of terrain, according to the peculiarities of the Livignasco bike park routes: the upper part will follow the conformation of the ground more, for a riding more natural as the "old school" of the DH wants. This first section will be completed by next summer, while the lower part of the trail will already be accessible from August to offer bikers its powerful structures that will lead to a final corner drop. Updates of the work in progress are published on the Mottolino Facebook page: www.facebook.com/MottolinoFunMountain.

If the current trend is flow country, Mottolino certainly does not stop there: last week it also inaugurated a new drop of about 4 meters, equivalent to the “smaller” ramp of the Nine Knights Mtb castle. Those who want to experience the thrill of two-wheeled riders have the ad hoc opportunity to taste the taste of emptiness on a structure built following refined criteria.

Mottolino is the right destination for training for mountain bike and gravity athletes: in recent days, park enthusiasts have been able to ride together with pros such as the Olympic bronze medalist Marco Aurelio Fontana and downhillfor Torquato Testa and Diego Caverzasi who, after having participated last year in the Nine Knights, periodically return to train on the most difficult tracks. But who better than the ambassadors from Livigno to tell you about the Mottolino bike park? The legendary Hans Rey and the trial wizard Danny MacAskill periodically circle his curves, this year joined by his Italian colleague Vittorio Brumotti, with his authentic personality and the numerous Guinness titles won in recent years.

Those who dream of becoming like the professionals who ride the tracks of the Mottolino bike park, have more than 20 km of routes at their disposal divided into 3 levels of difficulty, in addition to the Jump Area on the ground, the North Shore and the Big Air Bag. With the Madness freeride school it is also possible to perfect your technique, taking you beyond your limits: the instructors and guides make their experience available to make you do… the jump! All information on the services is published on the page www.mottolino.com/it/estate/attivita/bike-park-livigno/scuola-freeride-madness.

There could not have been a better time to book your freeride trip: the new portal www.MottolinoGo.com has just gone online and offers the possibility of creating a personalized holiday package according to your needs, to spend a pleasant stay in Livigno at sign of pure mountain biking.
