Since 1980, Ortovox has been synonymous with protection in the mountains, both for those who practice activities and for the alpine environment. A reputation earned not only thanks to high-quality products - Ortovox is in fact considered a specialist in the use of wool in technical clothing - but also to the many training initiatives for professionals and enthusiasts.
Starting in summer 2026, the German brand is entering new territory with a collection specifically dedicated to mountain biking. The new Sequence collection represents a further step forward in development for Ortovox and positions the brand in the MTB market with the ambition of gaining a prominent presence.

The Sequence collection was developed in collaboration with two premium technology partners: SQlab and Gore-Tex. Production takes place in compliance with high environmental standards: bluesign® approved products, the absolute avoidance of the use of PFAS and a higher percentage of recycled polyester. In this way, Sequence fully reflects the corporate sustainability strategy ProtACT.
Tailor-made for male and female bikers, the Sequence collection combines functionality and responsible manufacturing with the dynamism of mountain biking. “From the beginning our goal has been to rethink mountain bike clothing and accessories, through our technical know-how, with a sustainable approach and bringing real added value to the community.“, explains Christian Morgenroth, bike product manager at Ortovox. “The collection is not the final goal, but the beginning of a new journey."
In collaboration with Deutsche Initiative Mountainbike (DIMB) Ortovox will publish a first aid guidebook specifically for mountain biking and the Ortovox Safety Academy, one of the most important training initiatives dedicated to mountain sports, will be further expanded to include the mountain bike sector with first aid courses for the community. In addition, the collaboration with DIMB for the promotion of products and the construction of new trails guarantees the brand direct access to the mountain bike scene: national guides will be provided with the necessary equipment and at the same time projects that support sustainability and safety will be promoted.

Abrasion-resistant materials, combined with a carefully studied fit, allow for great freedom of movement while also ensuring optimal support even on the most demanding singletrack. Thanks to anti-odor technology, the extremely comfortable longsleeve made of T2T recycled polyester (100%) ensures a fresh feeling even after the most demanding climbs.
