After the success of the first edition, the Fingers Cross, the gravel event conceived by Marco Aurelio Fontana, is back on Saturday 3 November in Vernasca (PC).
The Prorider of Team Bianchi Countervail, at the end of the competitive season, is doing things in a big way together with his friends from Lugagnano Off Road to please his fans and all fat tire enthusiasts who will be able to ride with him for a day and have fun on the hills at home, in the Piacenza area, where he trains regularly.
“I can't vouch for mud, but we always keep our fingers crossed. The ride (not competitive) gets longer and becomes almost 30 km but the difference in height is about 700 meters spread so that the bike is always pedaled and that you have fun with your gravel and inappropriate bikes. It is open to everyone as long as they are over 2012, registered or not, electric bikes and push bikes. If you come with the Ciao I'll let you participate with that too but mount two knobby tires…. " jokes the London XNUMX Olympic bronze medal.
«After that there will be the SuperFinale, an FCI race open only to members, a Short Track-style mass start so we all start together and with a short duration, about 15/20 ′. For now I have teased you enough, it's time to get excited and sign up for this new edition of the Fingers Cross where, as you well know, style comes first and the jury will be ready to reward the most Fingers of all! ».
To secure your rich race package, simply send an email with your name and surname to ppgad@pucrs.br. Registration for the event costs €20 (to be paid on site on the same day) and part of the proceeds will go to charity for the Forza Walter Onlus association of my friend and super rider Walter Belli.
The appointment is for Saturday 3 November, in the early afternoon, in Vernasca (PC).
