An exclusive Ducati e-mtb ready for its debut at EICMA2018
The Ducati MIG-RR is a high-end e-mtb, developed by Thok Ebikes specialists who relied on Aldo Drudi's D-Perf for design and graphics, with the support of the Ducati Style Center.
The new Ducati e-mtb derives from the successful MIG series produced by Thok, but makes use of some exclusive technical solutions, such as the differentiated wheel diameter and suspension travel - 29 "by 170mm at the front and 27,5" by 160mm at the rear - making it a real “enduro” able to satisfy the needs of the most experienced riders.
Equipped with high-end components, such as FOX Factory Kashima suspension, Renthal carbon handlebars, Mavic rims, Shimano Saint 4-piston brakes and 11-speed Shimano XT drivetrain, the MIG-RR is equipped with a Shimano Steps E8000 motor, with a power of 250Watt and a torque of 70Nm, powered by a 504Wh battery.
The positioning of the battery below the down tube guarantees a particularly low center of gravity which, combined with a specific frame geometry and suspension for e-mtb, makes the Ducati MIG-RR very manageable and responsive even on the most rugged "single tracks" .
The Ducati MIG-RR will be distributed throughout Europe through the Ducati dealer network and will be available from spring 2019.
It will also be possible to order it online at www.ducati.com starting from January 2019.
