The new international team born fromidea by Fabien Barel, will be made official in a few days by the UCI and will be led by Roberto Vernassa, will race in the most important discipline events, aiming for the top 10 in the main events such as the World Cup Downhill.
The team will be made up of four young promises from the Gravity world: the Italian Loris Revelli, former national champion Dh (2019) and Enduro (2020), the American Dante Silva, solid promise of downhill US, French Antoine Pierron, the youngest of the so-called “jet brothers” and the promising German junior Henri Kiefer.
The comment of Fabien Barel: “The new team is the result of an ambitious project, with athletes of great prospects and abilities. They are mainly private and self-supported riders who, today, thanks to Pirelli, Canyon and Dainese, make an important leap into professionalism. In my opinion, many of them will soon climb the top results. For me, this project is also the final test of the work carried out for over a year on the new range of Pirelli Gravity tires. We have tested them in the most difficult and demanding conditions, in high profile tests, in races against the time trial, both in the World Cup and in the Enduro World Series. A 100% RACING RANGE
The launch of the new Scorpions dedicated to the Gravity world is scheduled for the current season. The range will consist of all the models and technologies necessary to race and win in high-profile competitions, without compromises or conservative choices, as Pirelli is used to doing when it comes to racing.
