A whole new team, focused on the desire to take riders to a higher level. Today, the mission continues with the creation of an Enduro team that shares the same ambitions: to transform today's talents into the fastest riders in the world.
The Canyon CLLCTV Dainese Enduro team will race at the highest level of the discipline, competing in all stages of the Enduro World Series this season 2022. On the saddle there are two athletes who have already shown incredible potential by racing as private riders in recent years: the Polish Slawomir Lukasik and the French Alexis Icardo.
Slawomir achieved outstanding results during the EWS 2021 season, with two top ten finishes in the Elite competition. The young French talent Alexis has already made a name for himself in the U21 category, with the title of National Champion and a handful of podiums in the EWS U21 races.
The Canyon CLLCTV Dainese team will have the equipment and technical support of the main players in the world of MTB and off road racing at its disposal. Clothing and protections will be provided by Dainese. Thanks to the long experience of innovation within the MTB and Motorsport world, Dainese products are the reference point in terms of protection and ergonomics and will help to guarantee Alexis and Slawomir the certainty of being able to push the limits further and further. Canyon Bicycle's Strive CFR will be the bike of choice for next season, assembled with a selection of top components, including the range of Pirelli Scorpion tires, Rockshox suspension, SRAM drivetrain and brakes, Crankbrothers wheels and pedals.
This is just the beginning: the team's search for new talented riders continues. And while the start of the 2022 season is around the corner, the doors remain open for another rider to join the roster. Stay tuned for the next few weeks to find out who will wear the Canyon CLLCTV Dainese team jersey along with Slawomir and Alexis. The first official appointment is at EWS Round 1 in Scotland's Tweed Valley on June 4, 2022.
