After a very long career together with Cannondale, in 2023 he will compete within his own team, Caloi Henrique Avancini Racing. A 100% Brazilian team that gives continuity to the project that Avancini started years ago and from which his career started: let's remember that Avancini rode with Team Caloi in his first years of MTB.

Henrique Avancini is one of the big names in world MTB, not only for his good results but also for his communicative value and as a true ambassador of MTB in Brazil. He helped grow off-road in South America to become a public figure outside of MTB.
My motivation was to find new challenges and aim for new goals. To have the opportunity to invest in the new generation like never before. A solid operation and management at the highest level in Brazil and also in Europe. The opportunity to develop and influence the bicycle market and culture. The responsibility to set a new benchmark. A team that carries the Brazilian DNA. This is my new team and the biggest project I've ever been a part of. Caloi / Henrique Avancini Racing, the team I had in my dreams, is now a reality! – Henrique Avancini
STAFF 2023

The team will still have a headquarters in Europe and stands out for its very low average age: Sabrina Oliveira (20 years), Cainã Oliveira (20 years), Ulan Bastos Galinski (24 years) and Henrique Avancini (33 years). A team with 100% Brazilian DNA, but focused on competing and shining in the World Cup.
CALOI, WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Caloi is part of the same corporate group as Cannondale: Caloi is a giant in Brazil. Founded in 1898, it is considered the largest bicycle manufacturer in Latin America. So much so that in 2013 it was bought by Dorel, the same group that controlled brands such as Cannondale. Recently, in 2021, Pon Holdings acquired Dorel and with this Caloi was incorporated into its portfolio of bicycle brands, which also includes companies such as Santa Cruz and Cervélo.

Caloi is the main sponsor of the team but other brands have joined the project to cover all the material needs of such an ambitious team. Shimano will take care of the groups and Fox of the suspension. The wheels will be supplied by 9th Wave while the tires will be by Vittoria. FSA, Fizik and CeramicSpeed are also part of the team as partners.
