EWS Val Di Fassa Trentino culminated on the podium with two very familiar faces. The women's competition was a simple affair at the top of the standings: Isabeau Courdurier (Lapierre Zipp Collective) fielded a dominant performance from the start.
HIGHLIGHTS
Winning all but one of the stages, the former series champion proved to be an unstoppable force this weekend, never giving up the lead of the race. Morgan Charre (Pivot Factory Racing) secured second place after finishing in the top five at each stage. The story of Harriet Harnden (Trek Factory Racing), which secured third place thanks to the victory fought in the last stage of the day.

In the men's race it was Richie Rude (Yeti / Fox Factory Team) who took the Pro Stage three seconds ahead of Jesse Melamed (Rocky Mountain Race Face Enduro Team). However, on Sunday Melamed challenged the American, winning the first two stages of the day and taking the lead. Rude then conquered the penultimate stage of the race, preparing to overtake, with Melamed leading by just one second over Rude before the final stage. It turned out to be too small a margin: Rude gained five seconds enough to win PS and the race. Eddie Masters (Pivot Factory Racing) proved consistency is key and was rewarded with a third place finish
ITALIAN
First of the Italians, Tommaso Francardo in 37th place (we had predicted it in the 365news of episode 76). Too bad for Gloria Scarsi, only 18, who was also the victim of a fall that made her shoulder sore throughout the race.

UNDER 21
Emmy Lan (Norco Factory Racing) continued her streak by winning the U21 Women, with another impressive performance that saw her finish the race 31 seconds ahead of her closest rival, Italian driver Sophie Riva. Lily Boucher came in third. It was a similar story in the men's U21, with Luke Meier-Smith (Propain Factory Enduro) back on top of the podium, Seth Sherlock finished second and Jack Piercy (Commencal Les Orres Team) third.
MASTER
Martino Fruet delighted the Italian audience with his victory in the Master Men, with English Ian Austermhule in second and New Zealander Bradley Lauder in third. Louise Paulin (Ibis Enduro Team) won three of the five stages by winning the Master Women, Fejola Stepanka Nestlerova of the Czech Republic finished second and Melissa Newell of New Zealand third.

Podiums from Morgane Charre and Eddie Masters ensured Pivot Factory Racing to stay ahead in the team competition
The team of the day went to Pivot Factory Racing, Rocky Mountain Race Face finished second and Canyon Collective third. Pivot Factory Racing maintains the lead in team competition.
Courdurier and Rude lead the overall standings in their respective categories, as do Meier-Smith and Lan. Ian Austermhule leads the Master Men, while Fejola Stepanka Nestlerova leads the Master Women's results.
The Enduro World Series returns on August 6-7 at the ever-iconic EWS Whistler in Canada for round four, while the EWS-E heads to the land of Valberg, France next weekend for round four.
