The 1th edition of the FSA Bike Festival – Garda Trentino, the leading bike event in Europe organized by the German publishing house Delius Klasing in collaboration with Garda Dolomiti Azienda per il Turismo SpA, ended today, Monday 29st May.
An edition that has certainly exceeded all expectations: over 70.000 registered visitors - an absolute record for the event - who populated the expo area (25.000 m350 this year) during the four days of the festival to discover the novelties of 200 brands at over 29 stands. The day with the greatest attendance was Saturday XNUMX April, which culminated in the same evening with the Open Night which enlivened the exhibition area with music, street food and lots of fun until late into the night.
A great result also from the point of view of registration for the competitions scheduled from Friday to today with 2.000 participants: the FUNduro registered 150 participants as well as the Specialized Lake Bash (the brand new race dedicated to Gravel), while the Scott BIKE Marathon – which this year is part of the UCI HC C1 category and therefore among the most important races in the MTB world – saw 1.300 bikers at the starting line, many of them from the elite category, coming from more than 25 nations and the Bosch eMTB Challenge supported by Trek had 200 athletes at the start, reaching sold-out.
The Junior Trophy, on the other hand, was tackled today by 400 little bikers, divided into six categories based on age (from 3 to 14 years), effectively concluding this year's edition.
Specialized Lake Bash
Riva del Garda is therefore once again confirmed as the capital of mountain biking, as well as being the undisputed destination for enthusiasts but also for those who practice road cycling: in a recent interview the Belgian Remco Evenepoel, one of the favorites at the upcoming Giro of Italy and winner of the last Liège-Bastogne-Liege, recalled his youth holidays with his family in Riva.

The largest exhibition area ever, the addition of new competitions such as the Specialized Lake Bash entirely dedicated to the gravel world as well as classic races, such as the iconic Scott BIKE Marathon, have really been able to gather the enthusiasm of the public, coming from more than 25 countries. All this energy once again testifies to the relevance of the bike product for the Garda Trentino area and the whole of Trentino in general and we are sure that the next edition of the Bike Festival - which will blow out 30 candles - will really be able to go beyond all expectations" he concluded satisfied the President of Garda Dolomiti Company for Tourism SpA Silvio Rigatti.
