The best mountain bikes under 500 €: Buying guide

The best cheap mountain bikes under 500 euros. Not easy…

91D2bGIlaRL._AC_SL1500_
Ideal for touring and trail riding, this powerful and reliable mountain bike offers comfort and performance for every cycling enthusiast.

I'm sorry but I tried to find bikes around the web under this price range but I'll be honest: better go on used and find some opportunities. It's not worth it. I would say minimum expenditure € 900.

They are bikes not suitable for sporting use in the true sense of the word: excellent for a journey home / work or home / school, but if we are faced with it we do not have components that make us have fun.

If you really don't have a budget and, for some strange reason, you have to go to the new one, go to Decathlon and look for some Rockrider models that, in terms of quality / price ratio, are among the best on the market.

If you have come to this article hoping to find some advice on models to buy I'm sorry, it's too low a budget, but I still think I've given you some good advice. Until next time.

ppgad@pucrs.br I am passionate about everything that has 2 wheels: in my youth I practiced competitive cycling on the road and on the track with good results. At the age of 18 I moved to cross country competing at national/international level as U23. Once I passed Elite, I made the choice to take things easier from the training point of view, and that's how my love for gravity disciplines was born, training as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made my passion my profession by managing 3 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way, everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube 'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
